How Is It Possible To Do A Same-Day Crown When All Other Ones Took 2 Weeks?
Same-day crowns are possible in our office thanks to the use of latest technology that can scan your tooth using a laser inside your mouth and then is able to send that design to our milling equipment. There is no need for impression trays or material to be placed in the mouth, the laser will do it all. This way by having our own in-house lab, we can place and deliver a new permanent crown to the patient on the same day.
Will A Same-Day Crown Look Natural?
Yes, the crown will look and feel just like a natural tooth. The dentist and staff will scan, design and utilize a color match to that of your other teeth. We can also custom stain the crown to match the natural color variations of adjacent teeth in your own mouth.
Are Same-Day Crowns More Expensive?
No, because thanks to precise technology utilized in our office, the cost of crowns is about the same as other crowns done in a dental lab. However, many of our patients still need financing options to help pay for the procedure. During your consultation, our staff will help figure out a financing strategy that fits your budget and will work with your dental insurance to make sure your coverage is used to the maximum.
